Modern, higher end, steam autoclaves (so-called Europe Class) work with pre- and post-vacuum. Before the actual sterilisation process the chamber is repeatedly evacuated - in fractionating steps - with the help of a diaphragm pump. This multiple evacuating process ensures that steam will reach into the smallest of pores. After the last pre-evacuation cycle is completed heated steam of up to 134 °C enters the chamber for the sterilisation cycle. Finally, once the steam is released, a last evacuation cycle follows which enhances spotless and better drying of the sterilised objects. Product Recommendations:
