The quiet, low-vibration WOB-L piston design model 2250 utilises magnesium components that limit the pump's weight to a mere 1.13 kg (2.5 lbs). A highly efficient brushless DC motor offers low power consumption for long battery life. The motor offers variable speed from 1,000 to 3,000 rpm, meaning the air flow can be steplessly varied according to patient need.

In addition, an optional closed loop controller allows motor speed to be maintained at a pre-set, constant rpm, regardless of load or voltage fluctuations. The oil-less piston and cylinder design ensures clean, uncontaminated air flow.
