Filling machines are widely used across a diverse range of industries for automated filling of containers with product whether liquid, powder or in granulated form. 

For speedier and more controlled filling, it is beneficial if the air can be removed from the container as the product is poured, side channel and radial vacuum pumps proving ideal for this purpose. 

In the case of liquid products, a secondary vacuum application is in drip removal from the filler nozzle between fills, side channel and oil lubricated rotary vane units, may be used in these cases.
