NEW 4002 SERIES
Small oval diaphragm pump with high flow

Small and slim with high free flow - typical characteristics of the newest product from Rietschle Thomas Puchheim. The competitively priced oval diaphragm pump series 4002, with its 17 mm width, 30.3 mm height and approx. 52.6 mm length achieves a flow of 2.0 l/min, making it  the first choose for all handheld analytical devices.

The valves of the oval diaphragm pump are not mounted on top as usual, but in front of the pump body. Thus the Rietschle Thomas Engineers saved construction space and used the free room above the DC motor, thereby achieving the very low construction height of the pump.

The pump chamber is also used to full capacity: The oval cut rolling diaphragm of the 4002 series performs the pumping task using a gentle pendulum motion without the usual elongation at yield, enabling the pump to achieve a flow of 2.0 l/min.

The 4002 series is available in two versions: The vacuum pump reaches -600 mbar relative pressure during intermittent duty and -200 mbar relative during continuous duty. The special pressure version reaches 800 mbar operating under intermittent, and 200 mbar during continuous pressure.

The oval diaphragm pump series 4002 is mainly used in handheld devices. Typical applications are gas analysis and monitoring, gas and air sampling, pipettes, vacuum pinchers and handheld leak detectors.
