Like dust extraction, fume extraction is increasingly necessary across a wide range of industries including automotive, food packing, laboratory, medical and plastics, to ensure a safe a clean working environment.  For this application, large volumes of air need to be moved, at relatively low levels of vacuum, side channel and radial vacuum pumps being particularly suited to the purpose.
