The 2770 series is a further development of the proven 2750, with improvements being made in pressure, continuous running and lifetime capabilities. The lifetime has been extended primarily through new extremely durable PTFE piston seals that can easily be replaced in the field by the customer.

The cylinder is hard-coated for wear resistance and all wetted aluminium parts are treated for corrosion protection. Oil-less pistons and cylinders, combined with an air intake filter, prevent airflow contamination. The thermally protected motor is a highly reliable permanent split capacitor design, with twin fans providing efficient cooling. The die-cast aluminium housing incorporates patented stainless steel valves.

The pump is available with a selection of strokes (standard: 12.7 mm) and has both pressure and vacuum capability without the need for internal modifications (maximum vacuum: -920 mbar). Minimum full load speed is 1470 rpm.

Typical application fields for the WOB-L piston pump are medical, dental, laboratory, cable drying, waveguide pressurisation and dry sprinkler systems.
